Rachel Yun Zhang

I am a fourth year PhD student in computer science at MIT where I am fortunate to be advised by Yael Tauman Kalai and Vinod Vaikuntanathan. Before that, I completed a B.S. in mathematics at MIT.

I am broadly interested in computer science. Currently, I am particularly interested in expanders, error-correcting codes, and quantum computation.

I am grateful to be supported by a NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. I was supported in my first year by an Akamai Presidential Fellowship.
